Demonta Adkins, a 21-year-old resident of Petersburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on December 29, 2018. Adkins was found with a gunshot wound at the Petersburg East Apartments located on Croatan Drive. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident shocked the local community and prompted an immediate investigation by the Petersburg Bureau of Police.
