Sylvester Brown Jr., a 29-year-old resident of Henrico, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2019, in a double shooting incident. The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. in the 600 block of N. Laburnum Avenue. Emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Sylvester Brown Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
