Habeeb A. Sam Hafeed, a 30-year-old convenience store owner, was tragically shot to death on August 24, 2016, in Richmond, Virginia. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Sam’s Market, located at North 30th Street and Nine Mile Road. Hafeed, who was affectionately known as "Sam" by his friends and customers, was working on his car with a friend, Chris Boivan, shortly before the shooting.
