Myzhe Lewis, a 20-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 2, 2019. The incident occurred at a Wawa convenience store located on W. Mercury Boulevard in Hampton. According to reports, the shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. when two groups of individuals engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated into gunfire. Myzhe Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man, who was also shot multiple times, survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
