In the early morning hours of July 26, 2019, the life of 30-year-old Keenan Cunningham was tragically cut short in Danville, Virginia. A Black male, Cunningham was discovered inside his truck on Hughes Street after police responded to a call of shots fired around 3:30 a.m. He was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was subsequently taken to the Western District Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
