On a November evening in Danville, Virginia, a dispute between two men escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving one man dead and the other facing serious charges. The life of Clarence James Martin Jr., a 50-year-old male, was cut short on November 17, 2021, in front of a residence in the 100 block of Rocklawn Avenue. Responding to calls of shots fired, police discovered Martin with a gunshot wound. He was transported to SOVAH Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
