Ja’Quise De’Juan Beard, a 19-year-old from Danville, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when the Danville Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at the 700 block of Stokes Street. Upon arrival, officers found Beard on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.
