Deron Lanard Evans, a 23-year-old resident of Danville, Virginia, passed away on November 26, 2015, at the Danville Regional Medical Center. Evans, also known as "Nard," was born on June 6, 1992, and was the son of Garry Barley and Josette Evans Price. His death followed a shooting incident that occurred on November 23, 2015. Evans was shot in the leg and subsequently hospitalized. Despite his injuries, he refused to cooperate with the police investigation into his own shooting.
