Olajuwon Akeem Elleby, aged 34, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2019, in Richmond, Virginia. He was one of two men shot to death in the early hours of the morning at the Bloom Apartments on Chamberlayne Avenue. The other victim was identified as Jammie Lee Walker, aged 39. According to reports, officers responded to a call about random gunfire around 2:30 a.m. and found both men in a rear parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
