Heath Kevin Williams, a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of September 3, 2019, in Newport News, Virginia. The incident unfolded just before 2 a.m. when Newport News police responded to a call of shots fired in the 3000 block of Roanoke Avenue. A short time later, a second call led officers to the 1100 block of 30th Street, where they discovered Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
