In the quiet city of Danville, Virginia, the life of 17-year-old Genesis Horton, a male, was tragically cut short on the evening of Friday, October 11, 2019. Genesis was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso in the 700 block of Paxton Street. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported him to Sovah Health, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. His body was then taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
