In the quiet afternoon of January 27, 2026, a tragedy unfolded in a North Charleston, South Carolina neighborhood that would cut a man's life short. Jonathan Hymes, a 35-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the 7600 block of Rosin Drive. First responders were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
