A quiet Saturday evening in North Charleston was shattered by gunfire on September 13, 2025, leading to the death of 32-year-old Alan Sanders Jr. from Summerville. North Charleston Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Townhomes apartment complex in the 7800 block of Roxboro Road at approximately 5:15 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Sanders suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
