James T. "JT" Walters, a 25-year-old resident of Lancaster, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 30, 2020, in Kilmarnock, VA. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when the Kilmarnock Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a breaking and entering at a residence on Bel-Mer Way. Upon arrival, officers and emergency services personnel found JT Walters with gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, Walters succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
