In the early morning hours of February 21, 2020, the life of 32-year-old Michael 'Mikey' Christen Davis was tragically cut short in Hampton, Virginia. A Black male from Newport News, Davis was found by police responding to a shooting at the Pembroke Pines Apartments on West Pembroke Avenue around 2:28 a.m. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
