Jahliq R. Taylor, a 20-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2020. Jahliq was a local rap artist known for his high energy and collaborative spirit. On the night of his death, he was preparing to perform at the RiffHouse Pub on Bainbridge Boulevard. Unfortunately, before he could take the stage, he was shot in the parking lot. The shooting also left two other individuals with life-threatening injuries.
