On a Sunday evening in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 20-year-old Tequan T. Greenhowe was tragically cut short. On September 27, 2020, police responded to several reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of Admiral Gravely Boulevard at approximately 6 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they discovered Greenhowe outside his residence, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Tequan, a Black male, was a graduate of Armstrong High School, class of 2018. Remembered by friends and family for his vibrant and stylish personality, he was affectionately known as 'OG Munch.' His death left behind a grieving family, including his parents, a brother, and a son.
The investigation into Greenhowe's death brought to light another homicide that had occurred in the same area just hours earlier. Detectives with the Richmond Police Department began looking into the possibility that the two fatal shootings were connected. Despite the ongoing investigation, no suspects have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made in connection with Tequan Greenhowe's murder. Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward and have emphasized that tips can be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
