In what should have been a place of healing and recovery, a quiet hospital room became the scene of a heart-wrenching tragedy. Pamela Turella, a 76-year-old female, was a patient at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia, when her life was abruptly ended on the morning of October 30, 2020. The calm of the fourth floor was shattered around 9:15 a.m. when the sound of gunshots echoed from her room, prompting immediate calls to 911 by hospital staff.
