Anna Evardo, a 24-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically found dead on December 23, 1984. Her body was discovered inside a closet in her family home, nude and bleeding from three small-caliber bullet wounds. The investigation revealed that the bullets recovered from her body matched those used in a previous attack on November 8, 1984, where a 12-year-old girl was brutally raped and shot but survived.
