Death by Force

On October 4, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., deputies from the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported domestic-related shooting in the 4000 block of Bonnie Brae Court, just outside Fredericksburg, Virginia. Upon arrival, they discovered 85-year-old Patsy C. Howard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was promptly transported to Mary Washington Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
