In the early morning hours of December 27, 2020, the life of Jamarcus Brad Washington, a 32-year-old Black/African American male from Louisa County, was tragically cut short in Charlottesville, Virginia. Just before 1:00 AM, the Charlottesville Police Department received a call reporting shots fired in the 900 block of South First Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Washington unresponsive on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
