Daquain Anderson, a 29-year-old resident of Charlottesville, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed in the early hours of September 17, 2022. The incident occurred near Market Street Park, specifically in the 300 block of 3rd Street NE. Responding to a report of gunshots at around 3 a.m., Charlottesville police officers found Anderson suffering from severe injuries.
