Lavel Davis Jr., a 20-year-old student and football player at the University of Virginia, tragically lost his life on November 13, 2022, in Charlottesville, VA. Davis, along with his teammates Devin Chandler and D'Sean Perry, was fatally shot on a charter bus that had returned to campus from a field trip to Washington, D.C. The incident also left two others injured, including another football player, Mike Hollins, and a student named Marlee Morgan.
