In the pre-dawn hours of Saturday, March 13, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet in a parking lot located in the 5100 block of the Richmond-Henrico Turnpike. When Henrico Police arrived at the scene shortly after 3 a.m., they discovered a chaotic scene with multiple victims. Markus Lemark Floyd, a 32-year-old male from Richmond, was one of two men who succumbed to their injuries that morning.
