Markus Floyd, a 32-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 13, 2021. Floyd was one of six men shot in a violent incident that occurred early in the morning at the Meadowood Square strip mall complex on the Richmond-Henrico Turnpike. The shooting, which took place around 3 a.m., resulted in the deaths of Floyd and another man, Sadao Richardson, 34, while four other men sustained critical injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
