In the summer of 2021, on the evening of June 23rd, the life of 22-year-old Jaivon R. Brittingham was tragically cut short in a shooting in Norfolk, Virginia. A father of two, known affectionately in his neighborhood as 'Memphis,' Brittingham was reportedly walking home from a nearby store when the incident occurred. The shooting took place at approximately 10:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of Berkley Avenue Ext.
