Andre Lamont Ford, a 37-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2021. The incident occurred late at night, around 10 p.m., when Newport News Communications received a call reporting a shooting in the 7100 block of Belvedere Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ford outside an apartment building, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medics, Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
