Marquan Demont Lane, a 19-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2021. Marquan was shot and killed in Henrico County, specifically along the 300 block of Engleside Drive. The incident occurred just before midnight, and Marquan was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after police arrived at the scene. This unfortunate event was part of a violent holiday weekend in Central Virginia, where multiple shootings were reported.
