Michael Paul Reid, a 36-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Newport News on July 5, 2021. The Newport News Police Department responded to a call about shots fired around 12:18 a.m. in the 1000 block of 43rd Street.
