Randall Edward Dotson, aged 61, was tragically killed on March 29, 2019, in Newport News, Virginia. The incident occurred at a Motel 6 located on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. According to reports, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:23 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Dotson lying on the sidewalk outside a motel room with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Dotson was pronounced dead at 5:32 p.m.
