Carlos Rican Roman, Jr., a 34-year-old resident of Spout Spring, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2021. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Spring Grove Road, where deputies from the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting just after noon. Upon arrival, they found Roman outside a residence with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate CPR efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
