In the summer of 2021, the life of 30-year-old Marquez McRae, a male resident of Richmond, Virginia, was tragically cut short. In the early morning hours of Saturday, July 31st, an incident unfolded in the 2000 block of Hopkins Road that would prove fatal. McRae sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. His injuries were severe and considered life-threatening.
