Marquez McRae, a 30-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 31, 2021, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:30 a.m., on Hopkins Road near Chalfont Drive. McRae was transported to a local hospital in a private vehicle, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
