In the summer of 2021, a deadly confrontation in Craig County, Virginia, led to the death of 28-year-old Christopher Bud Broughman of Covington. The incident, which unfolded in the early morning hours of August 6, 2021, stemmed from an altercation at the home of Jerimiah Christian Bradshaw.
