In the late spring of 2024, the life of 24-year-old Lavaris Harris was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of May 27th, a burst of gunfire erupted, part of a chaotic and violent episode that spanned two separate locations in the city. When the shooting ceased, four individuals had been struck, and Harris had sustained a fatal gunshot wound that resulted in severe brain trauma.
