In the early morning hours of February 24, 2022, a burst of gunfire in the 200 block of Epps Street in Danville, Virginia, shattered the pre-dawn quiet and marked the tragic end for Antoni 'Toni' Lamar Logan. A 40-year-old Black male, Logan was found by Danville Police officers who had responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 12:23 a.m. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was rushed to SOVAH Danville medical center, where he was pronounced dead.
