In the late evening hours of a Tuesday in Portsmouth, Virginia, the life of 43-year-old Elvis Blaize was tragically cut short. On May 24, 2022, in the 3900 block of Stateflower Court, a residential area, Blaize was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. The Portsmouth Police Department responded to the scene just before 10:30 p.m. Despite the efforts of first responders, Blaize succumbed to his injuries and died a short time later.
