On a summer evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 23-year-old D’Vurille D. Bailey of Portsmouth was cut short by gunfire. On July 31, 2022, at approximately 9:05 p.m., police responded to a call about a gunshot victim in the 1600 block of Manson Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Bailey suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was a male.
