In the early hours of August 6, 2022, the life of 31-year-old Rashard Lewis was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at the Belt Atlantic Apartments in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond police responded to reports of a shooting at the apartment complex at approximately 12:45 a.m. and discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Both men were rushed to a local hospital, but Lewis succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
