In the late hours of a Friday night in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 36-year-old Tameeka Ann Boone was tragically cut short. On September 2, 2022, just before midnight, officers from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of East Gladstone Avenue after receiving reports of random gunfire in the area. Upon their arrival at approximately 11:55 p.m., they discovered Ms. Boone, a Black female, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
