Ashanti Syncere Allah Britt, a 22-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on September 24, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Dale Drive at approximately 4:13 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Britt suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Britt succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
