In the early morning hours of November 11, 2020, the life of 18-year-old Talik Jahleel Farmer, a Black male from Portsmouth, Virginia, was tragically cut short. At approximately 1:00 a.m., emergency services received a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 2700 block of Turnpike Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered Farmer inside his vehicle, not just a victim of a crash, but of a violent act.
