In the autumn of 2022, a heartbreaking story unfolded in Richmond, Virginia, with the discovery of 17-year-old Tamel Durant's body. On the afternoon of October 19th, police responded to a call about a shooting and found the young man deceased inside a residential trash can that had been left at the curb in the city's Fairfield Court neighborhood.
