In the early morning hours of November 18, 2022, a devastating call to police shattered the quiet of a Chester, Virginia home, just south of Richmond. Inside, law enforcement would discover a scene of unimaginable loss. Four-year-old Jayson Cottle, a young boy, was found deceased, a victim of gun violence that also claimed the lives of his mother, 39-year-old JoAnna Marie Cottle, his 13-year-old sister, Kaelyn Parson, and his four-year-old twin sister, Kinsey Cottle.
