On a summer evening in Camden, New Jersey, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 13-year-old Ralph Gordon. The young male was inside Litwin's Food Market at the corner of Morton and Royden Streets on July 1, 1974, when two men entered and announced a robbery. In the chaotic moments that followed, gunfire erupted, and when the assailants fled, six people had been shot.
