On a summer evening in Camden, New Jersey, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 13-year-old Ralph Gordon. The young male was inside Litwin's Food Market at the corner of Morton and Royden Streets on July 1, 1974, when two men entered and announced a robbery. In the chaotic moments that followed, gunfire erupted, and when the assailants fled, six people had been shot. Ralph Gordon tragically succumbed to his injuries, becoming the sole fatality in the brutal hold-up.
