In the late hours of a Wednesday night in Camden, New Jersey, a car sat idling on the 2800 block of Constitution Road, drawing the attention of passersby. It was approximately 10:16 p.m. on February 27, 2019, when police responded to reports of the suspicious vehicle. Inside, they made a grim discovery. Two men were slumped over and unresponsive, both having sustained gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as 33-year-old Tyrone Coleman and 29-year-old Ryan Tisby, both residents of
Camden. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the two men were rushed to Cooper University Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical staff, both Coleman and Tisby were pronounced dead at approximately 10:45 p.m.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and the Camden County Police Department immediately launched a double homicide investigation into the deaths of the two men. Authorities urged anyone with information about the shootings to come forward and contact their detectives. At the time of the initial reports, no arrests had been made in connection with the case, and police had not publicly identified any suspects or a motive for the killings.
