Winston Leahong, 30, a Black male from Inglewood, was shot on July 28, 2025, and later pronounced dead at a local hospital at 9:44 p.m., according to county officials. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner classified the death as a homicide caused by gunshot wounds to the torso and identified him as Winston Barrington Leahong. Records list his birth on April 12, 1995, in Los Angeles County.
