On the evening of Thursday, June 25, 2026, the life of 50-year-old Cornelius Smith of Camden, New Jersey, was tragically cut short by gun violence. At approximately 10:20 p.m., Camden City police officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 300 block of Morse Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Smith lying in the street, having sustained a gunshot wound. He was a male.
