A young man’s life was cut short in a brazen act of violence inside an Atlantic City deli. Shamir Tyrone Harper, a 27-year-old male known to his loved ones as 'Monk,' was fatally shot on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Originally from Mays Landing, Harper had attended public schools in Atlantic City and Chester, Pennsylvania.
