In the early hours of a spring morning in Jersey City, New Jersey, a selfless act of courage tragically cut short the life of 25-year-old Darren Maurice Talington. On April 26, 2014, the man affectionately known as 'Reese' was inside the A-Plus Deli on Grove Street when he witnessed a man accosting a woman. Without hesitation, Talington stepped in to defend her.
