In the early hours of July 3, 2022, a house party in east Las Vegas turned tragic, claiming the life of 19-year-old Angel Montano, a Hispanic male. The gathering, promoted on social media as a birthday party, was taking place at a home near the intersection of East Wyoming Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. At approximately 1:30 a.m., while in the backyard of the residence, Montano was shot.
