On a summer evening in Trenton, New Jersey, the life of 16-year-old RayQuan Marquise Brown was tragically cut short. A Black male, Brown was the victim of a fatal shooting on June 1, 2014. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue, where police found him lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his head.
